1. This may sound odd, but in UC, unlike BCM, I noticed that whenever im flying over an ocean (Actually being directly above all the water) I can't ever get high enough to break to space. I usually need to find a large chunk of land to use. Funny because I can get higher and actually break to space when over land, and when im over water It's like Im allready over my craft's altitude limit. Does anyone have any tips on how to get back into space? It can get real annoying when there is no good sized chunks of land around.

2. Any good tips for ground combat? I am never any good at sending my troops in. In BCM they would just run straight, stop, crouch, sit there, and finaly after 5 min of getting the nme right into sight he would fire. They usually got killed while targeting something with their gun cuz they had to sit there. Now in UC they run full speed while blindly holding down the trigger button! So now I don't need to worry about them sitting around anymore. The only problem now is: How can I sucsussfully make a ground combat team? How many of what type of marine do I need in each pack or strike group? And the OC crafts, how can I make them usefull and important on the battlefield too?

Again, tips are appreciated.

Thats odd, because it shouldn't make a difference. But I will look into it.

What type of ship? I've noticed that shuttles have trouble reaching orbital altitude when under manual control. If your command ship is in space, just order your shuttle to "Return to Base" and it will climb rapidly. In fact, you can watch the sky darken as you climb far above the normal 30,000 feet.

Hummm! I thougt that it was getting as high as the mark in de AID and then pressing O. BTW I notice that in de most of the planets the mark comes at 30.000. But in some moons under that figure.

Anyway I'll try it!

Well SC, I'm afraid I can not give you an answer. Besides this post in this thread. I've got myself a question about the Keyboard sheet

I hope you can forgive me.

I was refering to the 7.17 paragraph of the BCMG manual. I didn't think it was different voor BC online.

The keyboard sheet for UC says under Keyboard Controls section: (last line):

Hyperjump to target - or - Egress Planet: Shift+9

I didn't bother to answer SC before because it was a rhetorical question, but Frescas post seems to beckon an offcial repsonse for the "ultimate" clarity.

I was not looking for an offical response. I woundn't dare that.

And I do appreciate your post Darkken. I can really use it for my translation of my keyboard sheet (from German to English)

My mistake is that I didn't notice that the post of de SC a rhetorical question was.

This is the kind of mistakes I have because English isn't my native language. I hope you understand.

My pleasure, I was making an honest effort to sound helpful and not sarcastic I also thought I had missed something myself and scambled to find my trusty keyboard (cheat sheet). If you are missing you UC keys sheet, send me a private message with your email and I will gladly scan it for you as a jpg and send it your way.

Maybe it'll be added as a PDF file to the downloads section. I may be part of a larger doc but I'm not sure on that one.

PS: Your English online is pretty good!
