jamotto Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 I think this means that random encounters with hostile ships are turned off. Allows you to fly around and not have a bunch of enemy ships on your tail so to speak.
Supreme Cmdr Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Yeah. And it is described in the VCF as well as in the MISCON briefing.
Guest thehankg Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Ok thank you, i thought that was it but the briefing was kinda confusing
Supreme Cmdr Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 whats confusing about this? quote: THIS SCENARIO IS IDENTICAL TO THE DEFAULT ROAM & EXPLORE SCENARIO, EXCEPT THAT THIS VERSION DOES NOT HAVE NPC THREAT GENERATION ENABLED. THE SCENARIO IS GOOD FOR TRAINING PURPOSES BUT YOU ARE ADVISED TO STAY CLEAR OF HOSTILE SPACE AND PLANETARY BASES BECAUSE THEY WILL ENGAGE! GOOD LUCK COMMANDER!
Guest thehankg Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Why do you have to insult my intelegence??
Guest thehankg Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Here is the part that confused me: THIS VERSION DOES NOT HAVE NPC THREAT GENERATION ENABLED. and this with it: STAY CLEAR OF HOSTILE SPACE AND PLANETARY BASES BECAUSE THEY WILL ENGAGE! I just wanted to know as a fact.
