y2kewel Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Hey all, I captured my first station today. That put my XP up to around 10k. After finishing my trading and repairs I deployed a Probe to keep an eye on the zone while I went gallivanting around elsewhere. After about 2hrs I found that my XP had dropped to ÔÇô3k. Any clues as to what IÔÇÖm doing wrong?
Cartmanbeeps Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 Hmmmm... Maybe the station got captured (and it was so hard. Are your dreams crushed?). Or maybe a coupla ships were destroyed in your PZ (Friendly ones). That stuff has happened to me before. I tend to just forget it ever happened and just have fun and play. Look. If your lookin to protect the whole galaxy. Forget it. You cant. So unless you fleet's gonna have your ass dont bother seeing if its safe. And any wraith members who read this. It different with our HQ. I would never let a enemy near it!
Supreme Cmdr Posted September 10, 2004 Report Posted September 10, 2004 If you capture a region, the first thing you need to do is launch ships from the station (depending on if you have the rank to do it) and give them the order to defend the station, patrol the region etc. Otherwise, anytime a friendly or neutral gets destroyed in your region or the one in which you have a station, you will lose EPs.
