Career Confusion

Yes, I have read the other forum topic about AE career selection. But it still doesn't fix my problem. On the back of the box it says, "Virtually limitless game play with a 25 mission single-player campaign, 15 Instant Action Scenarios together with a freeform Roaming mode." But it also says you can choose from 9 first person careers. It also says in-game, that there is a tutorial mode. Where is that?

Try this:

1. Do this First

2. Apply the Patches

3. Read the manual

4. Read the boards here

5. Read the manual

6. Have a play around in UC

7. Keep that manual close at hand

This is not a tech support issue. And you should be reading the manual on how to play the game; not the back of the box.

I did read the manual. But I bought this game because of it's price and the description on the back of the box. If that description is incorrect, then the problem should be addressed.

Also, I have read the boards.

There is no hope of me downloading the patch in anything under 72 hours due to my completely unreliable and slow modem. (And no, I can't get broadband or DSL out here in the boondocks either.)

Please, all I want is to know whether or not the only single player campaign is a commander career and if there is a tutorial mission.

There is no problem to address. I didn't say that the description at the back of the box as inaccurate. I said you should not be relying on whats on the back of the box in order to play the game. Read the manual. Like p5 for instance.
