Supreme Cmdr Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 From the numerous posts and resolutions in this thread, most of which have been deleted, it seems that some people are just NOT PAYING ATTENTION. In order to patch the game, you have to download (or copy) the patch DIRECTLY into your game folder BEFORE executing it. If you fail to do this, it will patch incorrectly. This is standard for most games (e.g. MS Flightsim and others). ALL posts like "..I tried to jump and crashed", "...I tried to view the planet and crashed" etc are related to this particular issue. The method for patching the game is CLEARLY indicated on the file downloads page, in NUMEROUS threads here; yet, some people decide to keep creating threads about the same foolish issue. Hence the reason we keep deleting them. Do NOT post ANYTHING in this forum related to this issue or you will be BANNED as soon as the thread is deleted. Enough is enough. If some of you can't pay attention and follow SIMPLE instructions, you have NO BUSINESS playing this type of game that requires such attention.
