Rico Jansen Posted May 6, 2000 Report Posted May 6, 2000 Heard that enough from your pilots when they're out on duty? Well, you can always gag them, but then you can't hear them when you need to. Incase things go fatally wrong for them. So here's a trick.Throw out a crab mine once in a while when things get quiet in your area and put them on mine sweeping for the time being. That'll keep em happy and busy. But be carefull! These things can bite hard. Though cookies indeed, these little critters. Pilots will have their hands full if they are fresh and new. And unfortunately your pilot won't stop until they finnished it of or they are finnished off. Even when hostilities do break out in the area. You'll have to baby sit them incase 'sh*t hits the fan'.Why Crab mines? Well, they don't bite your BC when you launch them when your BC has forward velocity. Leeches are a pain (to me), you have to go into VTOL HUD/flight-mode to launch them unharmed. Atleast, that's what I learned. Crabs don't seem to do that to me. I usually order my BC to escort a comet or asteroid and launch a crab as not to potentionally harm other traffic. These crabs are meant for target practise only.Hope it works for you,------------------ Cmdr.
