Look real good to me. I like those type of movies. Can't wait.

looks good BUT ..

as opposed to similar movies such as armageddon, deep impact, or the core, i don't see where there can be a "hero" to save the day. At best i can see a bunch of people trying to survive a climate change but i don't know how it can end up being heroic, and since it's not a true story (true stories dont need a hero), it sounds like a show-off movie.

To make a long story short, it sounds like it's going to be a story-less all-SFX movie.

Sorry about that, SC. Unfortunately, I'm unable to do as you ask. I get the following message when I try:

You have too little faith in the force Luke, you see, I am strong in the force, and therefore I can do these things.

Your lack of faith..... Disturbs me!! LOL

All fixed, No trouble...

Just had to pull out my moderator hat.

I have one just like it actually, maybe I will put a label on it that says moderator hat, put it on when I do that.

Fun idea, thanks EP5...

I keep an eye on this forum above all others that I frequent, have to keep you guys in line so the SC doesn't have to, he's a busy man. He needs all of his energy going to just one thing.

The movie looks awesome! I am a big fan of EOTW movies, going back to "When Worlds Collide" Isn't this an Emmirch-Devlin project?

The problem with 99.9% of all 'end-of-the-world' flicks is that something big, stupid, and illogical happens at the end to make it all better. For once I want to see one of these movies with a sad, despicable ending where humanity loses and everyone dies... or obviously going to die very soon as a result of previous events. No flying space shuttles into asteroids, no drilling the center of the earth... just people coping with impending doom.

Yeah, that's morbid, but that's the right way to do it... and the one way that it's never been done before.

I, for one, HATE apocalyptic futures (except The Matrix). Why does it seem like everyone thinks the future is going to be so bad?

Because you can't make a good story out of a happy-happy-love-love future. Good stories involve a conflict of some kind, a problem.
