Supreme Cmdr Posted October 13, 2001 Report Posted October 13, 2001 ...she wanted to see it, so I got dragged. It was either that or stay home and work on multiplayer code. I liked it a lot. I am a fan of all three lead characters, so liking it was easy. Its a date movie, without the gushing nonsense. Freaking hilarious in some parts, but funny all around.
Soback Posted October 14, 2001 Report Posted October 14, 2001 So you saw 2 movies in one day? What did you do, hanged out at the lobby after the first one finished and then sneaked into the second one?

Soback Posted October 14, 2001 Report Posted October 14, 2001 I don't know, that sounded pretty serious. Took me a sec to put that frase together too, was kinda thrown off by the context.

So obviously I saw a movie the night before and in the afternoon of the next day. Which is why it sounded ludicrous to me. I don't even like being in public, let alone hanging out at a theatre. heh.
Soback Posted October 15, 2001 Report Posted October 15, 2001 Yeah, I hate theatres too. Usually wait for something to come out on DVD, but my girlfriend drags me there all the time. I don't like when it's cramed and everyone is chewing something and coughing and I can hear every little bit of it and people breathing down my neck.... I like to go to the restaurants though. Nice, quiet, you eat talk, relaxing.
Supreme Cmdr Posted October 15, 2001 Author Report Posted October 15, 2001 Thats nothingWe were sitting next to some jackass who kept reading the Iron Monkey sub-titles out loud. Lucky for him, about ten other people yelled at him before I followed through with my plan to gag him with his popcorn bag.

I wouldn't blame you, given what you've had to put up with electronicly. I'd hate thinking about what would happen if Shirley saw you in the theater...

I half expect someone to walk up to me ask me if I came in peace. Some people don't even know whether to say "...hello", or "...wazzup bro!" because most can't figure out my origin. The former gets a mumbled "...hi" and the latter gets a blank stare and sometimes with the added "...who the f*ck u calling bro? Do I look like I could ever be your bro?"Actually, the baby attracts a lot of attention. Just wait till she starts talking properly and goes telling her mommy that a lot chics come up to us. My office couch will be working overtime because thats where I'll be sleeping.Wanna get chics? Get a dog (a cute dog) or a baby. [ 10-15-2001: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]
Soback Posted October 15, 2001 Report Posted October 15, 2001 Hmmmm. Now where could I get a baby? Reading subtitles outloud? How the hell can someone do that and think it won't bother anyone, oh wait, that's right, some people just can't think.

[ 10-15-2001: Message edited by: Supreme Cmdr ]LOL but your not joking SC same happens to me when I go out somewhere with my son, the amount of women that come over and start talking to him/us.I should have had a child years ago would have made dating a lot easier(but isn't that a catch 22 situation?)

Soback Posted October 16, 2001 Report Posted October 16, 2001 Not really, all you need is your buddys kid. Offer to babysit, take him to the park or something you know, and then when the conversation starts weave in there that you are just babysitting. That way you get 2 points. 1st you are with a kid so it shows that you love children (I heard chicks really dig that) and 2nd it's not your kid so you basically available.
Soback Posted October 16, 2001 Report Posted October 16, 2001 There should be a service kinda like ASPC, want a kid, go look and pick one, or kids for rent. LOL
