actually, it should be movie purchase night

i swear, i should never go into Best Buy with more than $100 in my pocket... i go on a DVD spree

This time i picked up Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, The Dark Crystal (remember that?), 13 Ghosts, and the directors cut of Army of Darkness.

the new vampire hunter d flick was awesome. for those of you that like anime, i strongly suggest picking it up... or renting it. the dark crystal was just as cool as when i first seen it in grade school, and 13 ghosts was freaky as hell... literally

Yep, I remember Dark Crystal. I've had it for the last who-knows-how-many years on VHS.

Dark Crystal is my 2 yr olds favorite movie. Personally I can't understand why he is not having nightmares.

I hadn't seen it in a longggg time. He thinks it's funny when the Emperor turns to dust. He laughs yelling "broken broken" and he has yet to flinch at the old ladys eyeball.

If it's the one i remember. Wacky film. Demons and such and the guy hooks a chainsaw to his arm?

ya, thats the one... the chainsaw to the arm is great... almost better than having a shotgun strapped there. he eventually makes himself a prosthetic hand in the movie tho

the movie isnt even scary... its funny. my 5 year old loves watching it. he'll be runnin around the house yelling "come get some"... he even told my girlfriend "gimme some sugar baby"... god i almost died i was laughing so hard.

my advice rent it and watch it while the kid is in bed and judge for yourself.

Army of Darkness Director's cut is fun...
