Night at the movies - Ghost Ship

Very good I thought.

One gorey (but not too bad) mass murder scene at the beginning and the rest is spookum and harem scarem.

I even screamed once. I don't like things that jump out or are shown suddenly.

Pretty good. 8/10

I was planning on seeing this one this weekend, but wasn't sure about the gore factor.

So, I should skip the first, how many minutes before going in? I hate gory movies.

hehe, I never could stand gore - especially the gratuitious kind.

Anyway, I saw Ghost Ship (missed the first ten mins) and liked it. The Black guy dying wasn't so bad. And I definitely stared into my icetea when the dream sequence showed parts of that initial gory scene.

All in all, a 5/10. It wasn't scary. At all.

My girl friends thought it was creepy enough. It helped that there were only 15 people tops in the whole theatre.

Decent plot that was fairly well thought out. The only glaring inconsistency was when the guy fell through the floor then they run around the ship for the rest of the movie without a care in the world.

I only screamed when the spun the room around real fast and then they popped an image at you. More a scream of shock than one of fear. But a scream is a scream.

I was flipping through the channels the other night and I saw parts of that first mass murder scene. I was wondering what in the world it was doing on tv so quickly so I kept watching. It was kinda fuzzy too. So as I watched suddenly Jamie Kennedy came on in a blond wig and in a very queer choreographer voice said, "Now doesn't that just make you wanna dance? Ok boys and girls, one, two, from the top, four." and made these actors do a show tune.

I usually don't like stupid embarrassing humor like that but being familiar with the scene it got a appreciative groan out of me.
