Just Saw JP3........(spoilers again)

Ok, I read a few of the reviews before the movie. Many thought that is was the Best of the series, and all thought it better than 2.

I am just not sure. I felt cheesed out and almost bored through the whole flick. I mean Jurrasic park is as dead as the old "whats grosser than gross" jokes. The doctor was good(at least). I thought that Malcoms Wry humor in the second to be far more fun to watch. The dinos just don't look real to me at all anymore. The whole bit about the Velasoraptors being able to talk was just plain stupid. I mean its time to get a new pack of dinos. Raptors are just NOT scarry anymore. The "touchy feely" scene towards the end with the happy dino herds in the sunset was just toooo prepackaged.

The Spinosaurus was LAME LAME LAME. It is simply NOT any bigger than a T-Rex, and I saw NO reason for it to be better. In fact Its neck is far more vulnerable to attack, and would have been weaker in that fight. The Flying Dinos were the best in the movie.

Finally, What on earth is with the Navy sending in an Aircraft Carier!? That was like the worst cheese in the movie. One "blub blub AGGHHHH" over the cell phone and the chick new to call the Navy and the EXACT island and beach to send them in less that 8 hours? Not to mention the NAVY does not send an AIRCRAFTCARIER group to rescue 1 guy on an island. Or even 5 for than matter. As far as I know she wsa never told ANYTHING about the trip.

I was jacked to see this movie, and went with every expectation that it would be great. I was dissapointed and perplexed that it was just as bad as Planet of the Apes.

So far the only 2 movies that deliverd this summer were Mummy Returns (a blast) and Evolution (laughed my you know what off). Oh, Fast and the Furious was pretty good to.

I can only hope that next summer Spider-Man, Episode 2 and Matrix Reloded will deliver the goods. this summers movie season has SUCKED HARD.

Interesting I went and seen JP3 and the mummy returns in the same evening. JP3 was way better than the mummys return IMO. All the mummy returns had to offer was the same FX and cheesy one liners a complete waste of money in my book.

No I thought for sure there were at least two. The one they based the movie off of, and a follow-up.

I had gotten the feeling that there were more out there.

Its a trilogy each X-mas they will bring out another movie.

Anyway POTA was a good movie up till the end that ending sucked but thats another post.

JP3 I HATE Tea Leoni (sp) after that film I would have let her scream her friggin head off then push her in front of the Raptors.

What made the Spinosaurus better? The T-Rex bit its neck once and then the Spinosaurus bit the T-rex's neck and it dies WTF? And the pteradons (flying dino's) didnt even eat 1 friggin person. I wanted them to bring more friggin dino food (extras) so we could see them get ripped to shreds but everyone whos gonna die dies in the first 20 minutes it sucked. And the whole talk to the Raptors thing sucked , they should have eated them just on principle of the matter and the directors as well.

Cant wait for Episode 2.

Lol, those weren't aircraft carriers. They were amphibous landing ships (That is where the marines came from.)

The ending should of been like this: Guy in the suit on beach gets eaten by a large dino. Then 2 harriers fly in vaporize then they return to the ships. Then the marines come ashore and have to fight off a group of raptors (plenty of marines get killed). As the main characters fly away in the helo the flying dinos should attack but be killed after a arial fight scene (billy could or the mercenary could fall out and get eaten).

That would of made the movie the full 2 hours and not make you feel like you got screwed.
