The darker side is that it is set in a post apocolyptic Earth world war between China and the US. Which is why there are so many Chinese references in it, especially language. But generally it is the story of one man on the losing side of a civil war ( I still don't get if it's the main war I just mentioned above) who is now free and runs around on the outskirts of authority.

He could have ten Serenity threads if he wanted. Anyway, the boss posted a trailer in the other thread and that got me interested again so I went to www.serenitymovie.com and found the High Definition Trailer . It's pretty cool if you have the machine to run it. The beastie stuttered just a bit. Be sure to send Windows Media Player to FULL screen mode. Wow.
