From wverything i have read it is extremely slanted against the military by showing them to be drug using freaks, fools, disgruntled etc etc etc.. I will not support hollywoods attempt to further malign their own country.

The whole common sense conversation was good, I can't imagine someone to actually be angry at people trying to save their own lines after being fired upon. Also one of the Army guys that loaded the wounded guy into the copter looked like the kid who played the fat kid in The Sandlot. That was cool since I hadn't seen him in awhile. As far as undoing the military, it just shows how things are when people are being shot at and not in the safety of mother America's home bases. I can't wait for the next one, the really shows depths to the characters.

Kevin Trotter Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 No disrespect to our soldiers but the show is an artistic attempt to portray what it is like to be in a modern war. It is not a documentary. The term is poetic license! This is a quality show that is biting off a great deal to show a differeing point of view from what has been portrayed in the media. I have seen two episodes and I have seen heroic and cowardly acts. Anyone who thinks you can have one without the other is deluded. Enjoy the show for what it is, or turn the frickin channel!
