This has been an off year for the box office. Looking at the late august through october timeframe the movies look better than the summer blockbusters we have been "treated" to.

Serenity

A sound of Thunder

Transporter 2

Look more entertaining to me than most of the summer flicks i have seen.

There are others. please add to the list any i may ghave missed.
