Scrivener Posted September 18, 2005 Report Posted September 18, 2005 WHAT WHAT!?!? Serious Oscar-caliber cinema here... and I generally don't like Nicholas Cage. What a bloody marvelous movie. The acting, cinematography, editing, writing... superb. If Lord of War dosn't walk away with one or more golden statues this year it'll be a friggin crime. 10/10 There's a lot of psychological detail in the writing that all the actors manage to portray magnificently. It's an excellent moral and personal drama... and it also mangages to be artistic, informative, insightful, and entertaining all at once.
