Yet another controversial Spielberg masterpiece.

Ignore the political nonsense and just go see this thoroughly entertaining movie. Not a single dull moment in its 2hr 44min span. I plan to see it again before I dive for the DVD

Oh, just the usual sh*t about who owns a particular piece of mud, dirt and particularly desolate plot of land somewhere on a map. And the usual debate about that whole an eye for an eye farce (which doesn't solve anything) that has been going on for God only knows how long now.

HBO made a film about the same subject called Sword of Gideon. It is worth a rental and has a good cast( Rod Stieger, Colleen Dewhurst, Mchael York and Steven Bauer fronm Scarface).

Was going to see this today but it's not playing at the theatre across the street. I was shocked.

It's playing at AMC30 at the Block, which is a bit of a drive but I'll just have to eat it and go Friday.

...I ended up seeing Wolf Creek instead.
