LostInSpace Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Batman is heading into a sequel, titled "The Dark Knight," and he will face off against the Joker, this time played by Heath Ledger.
Ben Zwycky Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Heath Ledger? I didn't see that one coming. Nolan has proven he knows what he's doing, so I guess we're going to see a whole new concept of the Joker. I'm intrigued.
Supreme Cmdr Posted August 1, 2006 Report Posted August 1, 2006 Sounds to me like a darker Joker. But seriously. Heath Ledger? I'm pissed already and I actually quite like him.
Scrivener Posted August 2, 2006 Report Posted August 2, 2006 Heath Ledger is a great actor... but I just can't see him as joker, no matter how hard I stretch my imagination. He'll probably need a lot of makeup/prosthetic work. I'm still hoping for the Joker from The Killing Joke. I'm sure he can pull off the character... I just don't think he has the look.
Cruis. In Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 what I want to konw is, in 2008 when this is released. will batman have been battling the joker for 3 years? obviously it will pick up couple years after the first one... i was thinking the way the last one ended, would have set the tone for a big bang beginning of the sequel, where after a few years batman finally takes down the joker in a good opening battle sequence, ala batman returns.
