LostInSpace Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 Don't know if many of you heard N.J. ruling over 'ladies' nights' and what are your thoughts about this.
jamotto Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 err, so you go the next day when they are running the 2 for 1 special and no cover charge.
Charles Lindsey Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 This was in the related article. quote:Judges in Pennsylvania and Iowa have said similar events are illegal, but courts in Illinois and Washington state have said that ladies nights are permissible because they do not discriminate against men but rather encourage women to attend. Interesting.

Interesting. Yes, one takes totally moronic judges that are clueless, and the other takes judges with some common sense.
Bandus Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 I've always wondered how bars and restaurants got away with "ladies night." I never cared enough to actually say anything though. It really isn't that big of a deal.
Charles Lindsey Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 Does anyone think the man has a snowball's chance in hades of ever picking someone up when they find out (and they will) that he's the one that killed Ladie's Night? /snickers
Anarchist Posted June 10, 2004 Report Posted June 10, 2004 ...everyone wants to be political correct and it comes to noone 's mind that this concept is a contradiction in itself. *sighs*

echo Posted June 12, 2004 Report Posted June 12, 2004 My guess is, a not so pretty woman with a deep resentment for the male species came up with this idea!
