The security of computer voting systems has yet to be proven, and the old machines have worked pretty well in my estimation. THe fact is that voter fraud is and has been rampid for years. There were more dead Democrats on the voter roles in Detroit then anywhere, and somehow they were voting, don't ask me how, but I will give you some guesses, and I am sure that somewhere in the country Republicans do it too. The whole system needs to be torn down and started over, I think that EVERY registered voter should be REREGISTERED, then checked for breathing, etc, then when they vote they should be put into a central computer and if they try and go and vote at another precinct, we can catch them and arrest them for voter fraud. Reregister EVERY voter, check EVERY one of them, have a picture in the central computer of them as well, have the comuter check for doubles, triples etc under different names, when a match comes up, a human would then double check and if it is indeed the same person registered under a different name, POW, under arrest for voter fraud, Picture ID MANDATORY at polling places, central system to track who votes where, and makes sure that they don't vote twice. That would pretty much fix it right there, no voter fraud possible, as far as double voting, dead person voting etc..... THen it comes down to the software, and that I haven't a clue, because I am NOT a programmer. But we have to get this driving from one precinct to another and voting again and again, over with and done, dead people voting, that has to go away, etc. THe fraud is rampant, and the computer part is just the tip of the iceberg. If this lady is gonna freak out about 1 little part of the whole problem, she needs to spread out a bit.
