Oh you ain't seen nothing yet LS.

A lot of these protesters have threatened to disrupt the convention.

You have to remember, on the left, the only protected speech is that speech which agrees with them.

They are going to try and shut down the convention, Kerry is trying to shut up the Vets, it just goes on and on and on.

Free speech is only protected for the left, and everyone else had just better shut up, or they will sue you, or hurt you.

I know. Oy vey. Look at some of these guys that are going to attend :

In 1978, Picariello was sent to prison for helping to blow up a plane at Logan Airport, two National Guard trucks and a courthouse in Boston.

Since his release from federal prison, he has been involved in various groups, and has arrests for minor offenses such as refusing to move out of the way of President Bush's motorcade in Boston last March.

and these guys:

For example, NYPD intelligence reports say Kazi Toure, a Black Panther from Boston also known as Christopher King, convicted in the 1980s of conspiracy to overthrow the government, and with arrests for bank robbery and transporting firearms, was observed training younger militants in weapons use.

And a 20-year-old New Yorker who allegedly leads "The Organization" is advocating shutting down the Brooklyn Bridge, and hurling bricks followed by Molotov cocktails through the windows of military recruiting stations, according to these reports. The man has four minor arrests for nonviolent offenses and the Daily News is withholding his name.

Nice bunch of kerry supporters eh...

Errrm, since when are anarchists far left?

Well it seems rather funny that they didn't plan stuff like this during the democratic convention. Strange that, isn't it, for groups that are suppose to "rebel against any authority, established order, or ruling power". Don't tell me these guys are impartial to any political group.

Could it be that the powers that be WANTED them to do such and were dissappointed when they didn't? And 20 other conspiracy theories. hehe.

Ouch. Horrible sentence. Plurality changes.

Could it be that they are against the "powers that be"?

Wouldn't dream of it.

My main gripe is that if Dems are labeled "left" I.E. "more taxes" and "government control over your life" and republicans are labeled "less taxes" and "less government control over your life" then an anarchist MUST be far far to the 20th power right.

Edit: fixed a plurality error. LOL. Internet rule #547: Any post correcting an error will itself contain an error.

LOL, You responded to fast to my post. I submited the post and was re-reading it for any mistakes and caught that plurality error. Yes, at that point I was going to write something else but changed it and missed the error. I hate that when I do that. In fact, when I clicked on the edit icon, it took some time to load the editable message which was probably you grabing it up at the same time.

If this were only true. Sometimes (actually most of the time), I wish I could just pack my stuff, jump in my own private ship, blow this rock, and take a tour of the galaxy. Never to be seen again. This, however, will never happen in my lifetime or many lifetimes to come (if ever).

LOL, I can relate to that! Though space is NOT

presently an acheivable goal, we still have the ocean, with all it's vastness.

A nice, little 6 man submarine, IS attainable...though, I would prefer, a 1-man/5-women modle, myself.

Then, we could all raise hell, when the chicken-shit republicans, move their convention to some remote island, for SECURITY...from those, they have hurt, or even their own constituents...
