Also remember that the Palestinians were kicked out of Egypt and then fled to Jordan. Then they were kicked out of Jordan and fled to Lebanon. Just saw video clips from inside the school on Wb11 news channel. I'm sorry but there is no one to blame but those terrorists. People got to stop blaming this person or that. That's what the terrorists want us to do and it's gotta stop. I tell ya that video clip was just disgusting to watch no matter what your political gripe is that is just wrong.

I'm not arguing your point on a logical level, what you say makes sense. My qualm is with how feasible it would be to attain and the negative effects it would have on an entire population of innocents.

The terrorists don't value life, even their own. The threat of annihilation or being cast out by their peers means nothing to them. They will continue because that's what they do, you know, like cockroaches.

Despite the potential for a positive outcome, I can't see punishing the entire population of a country for something they really have no control over. If our government and military actually believed this to be a viable option, then we would have attacked Saudi Arabia by now since the 9/11 hijackers were predominantly Saudis. Of course there's the 'oil' issue, but I know how you feel about that.

Palestine, I think we all agree, is as corrupt as they come. But it's the government and the terrorists they support that are the problem not the general population. It's the same in other places, and yet some governments don't harbor or support the terrorists operating within their borders.

When GW laid out this idea, it was nothing more than bravado and rhetoric. It should be obvious since we haven't followed through on the threat. If we did, and began an all out assault on these countries, the entire world would condemn the US. Now some of you may think we can survive in this world alone (and some of you even wish we would), but the only thing that would come of such circumstance would be the demise of our country, that is, if the rest of the world didn't demolish us outright.

P.S. McVeigh was not directly supported by the populace of his home state but neither are the terrorists of the world supported by the general populace of the countries in which they operate.

Different circumstances for different countries, Palestine, the populace supports the terrorists.

This is a fact, therefore, punishing the populace for that support makes sense, although destroying Arafat makes a LOT more sense.

The head of the hydra is what must be gone after, which means the governments of those countries, but when it comes to Palestinians, cut off it's head and then punish the populace when a terrorist strike happens.

Also, Bush's doctrine is working, whether you know it or not, Libya handed over ALL of it's WMD's, Syria and Iran are next on the hitlist, Saudi Arabia is getting serious about catching terrorists and hurting the financial support comng our of their country, why? Because Bush warned them.

Once Bush is reelected, you will see a LOT of countries fall into line, because Bush will not be seeking reelection, so he can go full bore press and go after these governments with pretty much impunity.

That is what I am waiting for, also, you will see Pakistan really up the anty once that happens as well. They know what could happen if they fail to cooperate.

Syria, and Iran are now the problems, Iran being the main one, as they are the one financing and arming the terrorist elements in Iraq.

They are going to go down hard, once Bush is reelected and can do what he needs to do.

Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, then Syria. Those are the dominoes, and those are the ones that must be taken out. And they will be.
