Military action is the last resort in the fight against terrorism?

WTF, it is the FIRST resort to the war on terrorism.

You deal with those that struck you, then you deal with the LONG term probems via diplomacy etc, but the military is the first response, so that you have time to catch your breath and get the other solutions moving without another attack taking place.

Yeah, its just noise really. Its not like terrorism started yesterday. Don't you just love politicians?

I'm sure the terrorists are just laughing their asses off right about now; especially given the ass kicking Russia got in Afghanistan and we had to go in there and get those bastard Taliban out.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Putin and all, but Russia is militarily impotent; only they don't know it yet.
