Congress extends Internet tax ban

Now that this has been banned, the states are now going to spend the next three years lobbying to get it passed when its up for renewal.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, these tits in Florida are still trying to tax home networks. Go figure.

I hate this crap...

THe congress tells them they can't tax the internet, so they are going to attempt to tax another piece that congress didn't cover in their legislation.

I really hate the states and their tax everything that they can tax attitude.

Instead of raising taxes, why don't they shrink the government a bit to fit the lower tax bases that they now have?

Oh no, can't do that....

THe one thing that never shrinks is government....

That's okay NYC came up with a new one. Seems the city council will try to pass a bill that every pedal bike owner get a license under the guise of stopping dangerous pedal bike riders. If you are caught without a license, you will be fined $200-$300. Just another Tax. Will it never end with these schemes. I went around warning everyone when the cigarette taxes were being levied and that if they were successful taxing and banning that they would not stop at anything. Look what happened to those super sized fries from Mcdonald's. My prediction is comming true. Wake up people!! This country is slowly becoming not the home of the free but the home of the over taxed and controlled. And before you say "blame the republicans", NY state and city is a democratic strong hold.

It's not even close to funny. I forgot who wrote it, but it's a quote from some old book "The more the country controls it's people, the less secure that country is" With all this taxation, the stupidity, the social, ethical and financial divides growing. US will have extreemly serious stability issues in the next 50 years, my opinion is the government will be becoming increasingly controlling, with trying to register every living human like cattle and oppress (control) them with taxes and idiotic laws, eventually there will either be a civil war, coupe, or an underground rebellion organization.

OH yea, by the way. TSA (transportation Security Administration) is a screwed up monster of organization. It can deny you any kind of tranportation licence, or any kind of transportation (passenger) and put you on the black list without due process or explanation, and you are not even allowed to challenge that in court, on the basis that it's secure information (what can be so secure about yourself that even you can't know?) Their income comes from increase taxes, and fees. If you go to their website "www.tsa.gov" and click on their site map and find the budget link, you will find out that one of the things you as an airline passenger is paying, is $2+ bucks for every time you get onto the plane, and that's just one fee umong a multitude of which I think are completly ludicrous.

We as a population can and should rise up and say enough is enough, and not only get rid of this abomination of an organization but restructure the whole government as well.
