Glad to say I missed most of it. Just clips here and there on the news but when I saw the clip of John Kerry I almost heaved seeing him back at his old post as senator.

I still wonder about that, Dole resigned from the Senate when he ran for Pres, why didn't John F'ing Kerry?

Dr Rice is the one that was the main pusher of this policy of preemptive strikes, so there will be no clash with Cheney or Rumsfeld.

She is on the EXACT same page with them, Powell was causing the consternation, now Rice will step in and deal with State and hopefully straighten that maess out.
