In my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience with law, It is historically highly unlikely that a completely innocent person would get accused by multiple parties. Law notwithstanding, my formulation of an opinion on innocence or guilt is not bound by the "innocent until proven guilty" concept. I guess I can safely admit I would not make a very impartial juror in this case!

Like not constantly putting himself in these situations in the first place. So much could have been avoided. That's where, I guess, I just don't understand the mentality behind MJ.

He is STILL a kid, his childhood was stolen by moneygrubbing parents, a good portion of his fortune has been wasted by his family and mainly one of his brothers, so he makes up for it by living in a fantasy that he is still a boy, and therefore surrounds himself with other boys, so that he can play. In my opinion, Michael Jackson is just a little bit psycho, but child molester? I don't think so. He has had some money grubbing parents around that want a piece of what he has, and take advantage of the fact that MJ is as naive as he is. I think that Michael needs a babysitter, and a chaperone when he is with Minor children, only because he needs a witness that will testify against the money grubbers that come after him. The mother who is coming after him, has a history of going after celebrities and their money, she has done this more then once, Jay Leno being just one example. I think she told Jackson to give her money, and he refused, so she pressed charges that didn't exist in order to blackmail him into giving her money. If MJ had agreed after she filed charges, she would have dropped the charges, that I can almost guarantee.

When I spoke of mentality, I mean even after being accused and extorted money from many many times, he just keeps doing the same MO. For all the money grubbers after his money he just keeps pulling his pants down and bending over. You would think that the people around him would protect him from himself better than what they've been doing. I guess when you have the kind of money he had all the people around him were or became just "Yes men". BTW: Still unsure about the molestation thing. Maybe he does get carried away sometimes then again maybe not.

Hounded by the media , trapped by thier own fame EVERYTHING they do is is under a microscope. Who knows if MJ is pedophile? All I know is once you have been accused of this crime you have already been convicted and if you pay people money to settle, there is always someone else looking to get paid. I agree with Jag cause I remember when he wasnt a freak. He never got a chance to be a kid and beleive me that has a cost. Besides, Elvis was pretty freaky too, ( Not sleeping with Prisilla after the baby was born-ever, pulling people over with fake badges and trying to be a secret agent among other things) ANYONE who acheives that level of fame is affected by it. I feel sorry for the kids ivolved and for MJ's pathetic figure as well.

Going by that logic, every gay is a child molestor then. Look, he has been sued plenty of times now. Maybe he molests them (which haven't been proven), maybe he just helps them (which is what IS PROVEN), but after the first scandal the smart thing to do would be tell them all to buzz of and never try to help any of them at all. It reminds me of that case where Safeway used to hand out it's expired produce every day. Then the same people who were begging for those hand outs, knowing that it's expired and is being given to them for free, turn around and sue Safeway for giving out expired food. Well Safeway burns it's expired produce now, and those begars go hungry. Draw the line here street, not on who dresses how and puts on what make up, and has what on his desk.

Freyar Posted June 11, 2005 Author Report Posted June 11, 2005 The media should just stay out of this already. Of course... imagine all the media coverage when Saddam goes on trial in september... (Is is September he goes on trial?) In anycase, I'm not sure about MJ, I think it's likely he is guilty because of the number of people accusing, and the steps MJ took to make sure it didn't go to court. (Then again I'm also an idiot who locks his father in his room).
