We have been feeding, INSTEAD of teaching, and it has created this disaster. Yeah, just throw money at it. A bunch of fricking idiots, and it's OUR money that they are giving away.
LostInSpace Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 Yup, I saw a program on PBS about 15 years ago that said just that. Their enviorment can only support so many. The way the west has gone in there and just thrown money and food and some technology has helped increase the population in a place that can not sustain the current situation no matter what you do. Sure it sounds cold harted, but such is the way of nature.

The amount of people that would go there would invariably suck up those resources too and you are left again with a disaster.
