In July 2002 I said the following on Iraq...

It's already been addressed, Race. Silk and I have established his conservatism, and I have admitted I may have presumed too much.

Be that as it may, on Iraq, his means of interpreting facts , always being suspicious and assuming the most diabolical of intentions, has a liberal "stench" to it. As you probably know, I don't abide liberalism very well. Even if it is only used sparingly. But I will continue to treat my liberal friends with respect.

My "means of interpreting facts" is simply viewing them in black & white instead of running them through the spin machine and seeing how much I can water them down because they are damaging to 'my party'.

I have no party. There are no Conservatives in Washington... save a precious few.

You, like me at first, are presuming too much. It might surpise you to know that this is how I feel as well. There is no guaranteed correlation between Republicans and conservatives. But in distancing oneself from the "mainstream, one needs to be cautious not to travel too far to the extremes.

I vote republican all the time, but in a way it's just a lesser of two evils. At least with Republicans there is a chance of some conservatism accidently sneaking through.

I do not believe in voting for the lesser of two evils. I will vote for the candidate who best represents how I feel - even if they have no chance in winning. I believe a vote should be based on principal, and will cast my vote no doubt for a libertarian, reform, or some other party if the GOP doesn't turn around.

I don't agree with everything Pat Buchanan says, but I like his stance on Immigration. You can view me as the type of Conservative who would support the Paul Revere Society.

I think we can all agree that I've changed the dynamics of debate here quite signifigantly in my past few days.

For better or worse. I still hope I'm wrong about the future.

LOL! I think that's an understatement! You kind of remind me of my Aunt Rosie- she's a 4 foot tall 88 year old Sicilian who is a fireball on wheels! Talks a mile a minute, too!

Hell, I'm pretty sure your wrong about the future... and the present to!

Anyway, for the record there are NO hard feelings on my part, Silk. Later!
