LostInSpace Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 CNN: The conflict so far has caused "immeasurable loss" in Lebanon, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said Wednesday. He again called for a cease-fire and denounced Israel as a "savage war machine" responsible for more than 300 deaths in Lebanon. Makes ya laugh sometimes. Lebanon is harboring an organization that has one objective: The destruction of Israel and backed by countries with the same motive. They have the nerve to even say that? Lest we forget who started this: quote: The fighting began after Hezbollah members crossed the heavily fortified Israeli border Wednesday. In an ambush, they killed three Israeli soldiers and captured two, whom they spirited away to Lebanese territory. Five more soldiers were killed as the Israeli military tried to recover the soldiers and equipment wrecked in the pursuit. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert called the attack an act of war, and Israel launched a campaign whose reach is greater than any since it invaded Lebanon 24 years ago.Hcmmm, who's the savage war machine?
John Prezioso Posted July 20, 2006 Report Posted July 20, 2006 How about the "immeasurable loss" of human life in Israel for the last several decades by the bloodied hands of terrorists, Syrian and Lebanese-backed Hezbollah included, all the while the do-nothings of the world sat by and.. well, did nothing? It's amazing how the standards are different for each side.
