I sincerely hope they don't go through with this. I mean it would make my weekend more enjoyable if I knew North Korea wasn't going to be firing seven test missles.

Read on defensetech.org (not that they are experts) that it was probably a dud in the range of a 500ton payload. They are saying that a plutonium device that size should have been around 20kilotons.

Still, there's always the case that it wasn't a dud. If the DPRK is stupid enough they're probably gearing up to test another one in a few months.

We'll have to wait and see.

The sad fact is, nukes are not that hard to make.

It was hard in the forties,simply because it had never been done before.

Unfortunately, that is no longer the case.

Any outfit with sufficient U235 or Pu can make a bomb.

Get use to it.

Hopefully the US government is looking into an alternate base of operations.

Because D.C. is tops on the hit parade.
