Charles Lindsey Posted October 12, 2001 Report Posted October 12, 2001 Bought a cheapie. Works ok. Fixed arperture and flash. Self timer. No viewfinder or anything. Just an LCD display showing how many pics you got. 20 - 36 image capability depending. The software is a joke. Just a few wizards with no real capabilities but good enough for now while I play with it. Just for kicks I took a pic of myself. maybe it will work.

Need to correct one statement though. It does have a viewfinder. Just not a viewscreen like the nicer ones I have seen at the stores. Wasn't but $60

Yours sounds a bit better!! lolAnd no, I didn't break it, it just gave up the ghost for no apparent reason, you get what you pay for I guess!!

I never did this bad with a film camera. But, I knew it was cheap and it's good enough to get the general idea. yard work
Andergum Posted October 19, 2001 Report Posted October 19, 2001 I picked up the logitech quick cam traveler the other day.Its a combination web cam and digital camera.So far I like it! Its a bit sensitive to motion when you are taking pictures, but other than that it works great.Kinda cool using Net Meeting too. Nothing like seeing the person on the other end of the keyboard.
