Cruis. In Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 ok for a while I realised the max resolution on my flat screen monitor seemed to be 1024. It hasn't bugged me till now. I go to dells site and I see alot of the flat screen displays for sales, (the expensive ones too) are max 1280*1024 resolution. whats up with this? I mean, my Inspiron 8200, 2002 Laptop flat screen can display 1600*1200 in games, so why the hell not for this monitor which is bought in 2005? I thought if my old 2002 monitor could do it, then any monitor i could buy could do it, so didn't bother to check any feature lists. SO most flat screens highest is 1280... what do I do? Guess its back to CRT. there are crt flat screens now right? And from what I remember about CRT id prefer it over these LCD anyway, because I remember the picture was always brighter... What's with these wacko low supported resolutions on the market now?
