echo Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Hi, I hope this is in the right catagory. Has anyone used "ARES?" My brother is asking my opinion on it and I just don't know. I am not sure how to trell what is safe or what is not anymore.... Anyone have any info? Thanks!
LostInSpace Posted June 29, 2006 Report Posted June 29, 2006 Looks pretty much like Emule. Any filesharing program is only as good as how many other people are using it. I've didn't know about Ares until your post but Emule is pretty good. The only problem with any of these programs is the waiting in line referred to as a queue. You could spend hours just waiting for the file to begin. If you are referring to viruses, emule is excellent with the source material in that area. Kazaa was the the worst.
