I've known Brian for quite a number years. Simply bright guy - no question about it. His post mortem about how/why his company startup failed, shows other sides of the industry and also just why, starting a gaming business - and keeping it - is not as easy as most naive gamers think. Funny thing is, when Brian quit SOE, I had asked him to come work with me, but he opted to setup his own company to see how it goes.
