Guest Grayfox Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 god this game is awesome... Special Ops SW style i was always a fan of the squad based FPS (die hard rainbow six fan) this game just makes me lose control of my saliva glands each time i play it... you can give orders to your squadmates from hacking a terminal, to providing sniper cover, to manning a turret. one cool thing is you dont really "die" until your whole squad buys it. as long as one remains, you can give him an order to revive you... pretty damn neat. if you havent tried it yet, d/l the demo... i think its definitely worth it. on another xbox note... anyone else looking foward to Cold Fear???
LostInSpace Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 Seeing this game in action proves a point I've been saying for a while now in connection to the Jedi Knight series "Why did they ever choose the Quake III engine for that series (after Dark forces II: Jedi Knight and mysteries of the sith)?". I'm talking about Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. IMO the Quake III engine stinks. The Unreal engine was the real way to go with the Jedi Knight series. Hopefully, any future incarnations of the Jedi Knight series they will migrate over to the Unreal engine.

There has been many games that have used it well, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force being one such game IMO.
