LostInSpace Posted July 6, 2005 Report Posted July 6, 2005 SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - Hackers have cracked piracy protections on Sony Corp.'s PlayStation Portable in the United States, the latest chapter in the company's battle to block unauthorized game use on its new handheld device. Looks like it's going to be a battle royal.
weegee_101 Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 The crackers these days will stop at nothing. This is already looking like more of a war of attrition than anything else. Sony's code hackers are gonna be modifying security code and closing loopholes as quick as the crackers break them. Bloody sad... I'd rather Sony be concentrating on fixing other problems with the handheld.
