I was too poor for an Amiga. *sigh* I got to play one of my friend's C64 though. My life probably would have been different if I had gotten one. I went the console route for awhile before I got back into computers with a 386SX-16. Man, I thought that thing was screamin'. Should have learned programming. I could have made some excellent games.

Sorry to drift off topic SC but BC3K and it's iterations were the kind of games I dreamed about as kid playing atari, or SMS. Often I would think to myself: If they could only take this shooter, this racing game, this action platform game, and this strategy game and put them all together into one uber game. That would be cool. Anyway, thanks for the games.

God I remember when I saw the Commercial for the Amiga with the ability to do Video Editing, how some kid was supposedly doing a "News" Broadcast making fun of his friends ... I wanted one SO BAD, but didn't have the cash for it.

i got my first PC when i left the military in 96. i had consoles... heh i remember my dad buying me a "hot" atari 2600 for my birthday. remember getting busted peeking in my parents closet and seeing the NES they bought me for xmas (boy they fixed my ass on that one) ahh...

i did remember seeing some awesome graphics (back then)for the amiga and wanted one... bad, but alas... some things were never meant to be.

Wow... my first computer was an Amiga 500 (less than a meg of ram I believe with no hard drive) that my dad bought me when I was 4 or so. To my surprise, it still WORKS! Anyway, I spent about four hours today playing DEFENDERS OF THE CROWN from what I believe is a 14 year old savegame. Ahh the memories... I look at my Amiga and then at my PC and realize just how far we have come. Even though I had forsaken my Amiga and now use inferior 'windows' based systems, my little Amiga will always have a place in my heart.

What gets me is that today you STILL can't do video editing with most PC's, heck you need to buy like a $400.00 add on card to take care of that. Amiga had it all over 20 years ago!
