I notice they failed to mention any puncture wounds that would occur to the planes hull if they fired them weapons.

Pucture wounds to the fuselage of a plne are Myths to say the least.

If I took a 357 magnum, and at 40,000 feet shot all 6 rounds into the wall, the plane would lose VERY little pressure, and nothing explosive would occur. As a matter of fact, if I put a piece of duct tape over the hole, the plane could continue to fly at 40,000 feet until it reached it's destination.

The whole puncture thing is a joke, ask ANY aeronautical engineer, then again, the pliticians don't want you to know that...

In anycase, a pressure loss isn't too drastic isn't it? You can survive for a bit at that altitude, providing you get the oxygen on....

Well, Everest is about 29k' and change. You wouldn't want to stay up there that long. On the other hand, standard cruising altitude is normally like 30-35k' for longer flights I think.
