Any chance to release a patch to UCAWA wich remove starforce protection ? It's just a personal question. Because for my only reasons i don't like and not use starforce games (But have UCAWA the only one).

Darkling Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 I think you're confusing Starforce CD Copy Protection, which causes ALL Sorts of problems, with Starforce Software Protection, which is used by most companies that sell via Direct2Drive. Keep in mind, they are 2 COMPLETELY different technologies, and I've never even heard of anyone having any problems with the Software Protection technology.
Supreme Cmdr Posted August 4, 2006 Report Posted August 4, 2006 Thats right. Even though the digital protection version also uses drivers, it doesn't do anything with CD/DVD drives because there is no disk checking to be done.
