Night at the Movies - Star Trek Into Darkness

I finally got around to seeing this and it wasn't as bad as I expected. It was entertainment.

I grew up over the years with Star Trek, Next Generation, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and all the movies in between. This new Star Trek is a radical change from the old mythos. I will still always consider the older series the true mythos and this new franchise just another sci-fi movie. I don't know what they just can't leave things alone.

Personally, I loved it. Benedict Cumberbach does an excellent job in Sherlock and it was plain fun to see a evil version of him running around in this.

Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate the movie. I just don't like these "reboots."
