Battlecruiser Role-Play Timeline and Other Projects

Hi all.

another message from me. I am currently working on a couple of Battlecruiser RP projects, and one of thosr involves creating a historical timeline. Anyone who has gone to the trouble to create a life history, or even a few basic stories, for their character, should read this. i need your timelines, and I need them pronto.

the timeline terminates April 3000, at the start of the game itself. GALCOM was created in the year 2993, seven years before this. Commanders who were active and flying ships before this, were most probably members of EarthCOM (which has been around for donkey's years...er...a long time) and were transferred to GALCOM when it was formed.

I am interested in all of the personal aspects of your character - when they were born, where, who their parents were; where they trained, how well their training went, when they graduated (3-4 years of training is equate for GALCOM and EarthCOM officers, 3 for marines, 3 for pilots). I also want to know info about any major battles they were in, although anything that big will probably have to be cleared through the SC. Basically, I want to know all about them.

Fleet commanders, include information about your fleets. When were they formed? (should be between late 2998 and early 3000).

finally, if any of you have ideas for big battles, etc., that you would like included in the timeline, send them.

Once I have a big enough file, I'll begin checking things with the SC that might be doubtful, and pt it online!

For my other project, I am interested in anyone who has any experience using PERL for CGI scripts.
