Journal Entry:During and after academy graduation

I had heard rumors of such a ship, that the ship had existed while I was in the academy. I never believed the rumors had existed...

Why you ask? Is because during the academy the book's I had read had said that the ship was lost on it's madien voyage through space. When the ship had returned, supposingly, all crew where gone.. no one left alive

So that was the trip, I read that and thought to myself. If such a ship existed, then why is it that the book list's it as a 'rumor'

My question was answered by an academy officer who said. "The ship returned, but Galcom spritteted the ship away because everytime they had sent crew out on the ship, when the ship returned the crew was always gone.. they thought the ship might've been under some odd control by the insurgents, or worse, the gammulens.

When I got out of the academy and was given my first Marine command, I had heard about the ship yet again. It was during my lunch hour and I was eating some chicken soup, not the best thing to eat but hey! It's lunch!

According to what some of the officers said, the one's who where talking about it, a group of marine's discovered the ship is Obsidia by complete mistake, there transport had taken a wrong turn... wrong turn? How does a ship, commanded by a Prime Fleet Captain, take a wrong turn? Oh well nothing that I should be concerned about, I am a marine after all right?

I decided to take a chance and checked out the fleet database, my security level didn't get me very far to be honest, but I was able to aquire some information:

GCV - Bison Gon Flurie, first commissioned in 3010 on December 20th at 1300 hours. Commanded by Bison Gon, a hero who managed to hold back an insurgent assault fleet with only his Megaron, survived the assault with only 100 crew members left

When I had read that passage it had made no sense, a ship being named after it's captain? I mean normally Galcom High Command will allow us to name our ships but, normally the ship naming is done by the drydock commander. It still made no sense

Ship was released on it's madien voyage and entered gammulen territory, where it was ordered to gather some information on gammulen supply movements

Again, why would a newly commissioned ship, along with a new commander. Be sent on an intelligence mission? It still made no sense, normally intelligence officer's where sent on such important missions

Communication lost with the GCV - Bison Gon Flurie roughly 23 hour's after it entered Gammulen Territory, it did not redevous with the escort fleet

Ok.. perhaps the ship had been lost or something, but again it doesn't explain how in a later passage the ship suddenly, and mysteriously, turn's up at Galcom HQ

2 Month's pass before the ship return's to Galcom HQ, no crew left alive. No damage done to the ship

Oddly enough, this is the most confusing. How can a ship return to base without any crew to operate it's system's? The reactor does need constant looking after, so do the engine's and preatty much everything else in the ship

I had looked through all the other log's and information stored but other bit's had been erased, or where unretrievable

I had decided to stop searching, god know's if anyone found out I had retrieved this information I'd be questioned.. and possibly court marshaled

Journal Entry 2:After Cmd Sargeant promotion and Intelligence position

Man.. how long has it been since my last writing? Geez... 4 months? no.... yea about 4 or 5 months now...

Was promoted to Cmd Sargeant within the Marine Battallion. I still feel sorry for Alpha's original commander.... damn.. poor SOB... insurgeants really made a mess out of him. Anywho I got Alpha back into shape, had to kick a few rear end's though

I also got another position.. intelligence, seem's prime realized my importance and promoted me, gotta tell the wife and child when I get off duty today!

Journal Entry 3:One hour after I get promoted to G2 Intelligence and discover what ship I get

Whoa! Wait a second.. I was promoted... got a desk job now... and Now I've gotten my own ship.. but.. what is this... the ship I got was..

[We now start the RPing]

"BISON GON FLURIE!?!?!? Are you crazy!", I yelled at the drydock commander who was standing in my office

He rubbed his ear, "No sir, command said this ship will do perfectly, beside's it has a fine heritage and it's in excellent shape, you'll have the best crew.. well.. at least a crew that's 4th in the line that is.. The Supreme Commander and the Fleet Commander's have the best crew compliments there are"

"I know that Technical Sargeant, I just want to know, Why THIS ship?", I got up and slammed my hand's on the desk

The TS took a step back. "Please sir, there is nothing to worry about, she is space worthy", he said and saluted.

"Dismissed", I said and fell back into my seat. "Man... out of all the ship's in the fleet...", I turn in my chair. "She's a cruiser class ship.. at least she has the firepower to prove herself", I said and looked away from my window that over looked the ocean. "Gotta chose my bridge crew though, gotta do that"

Several hour's passed, I had chosen some of the finest, or rather what i figured, where the finest officer's around. I ordered them to get on board the Bison Gon Flurie and get her ready to go, it wasn't that I was worried, it was that I considered the ship cursed.. perhap's command wanted me to prove that the ship WASN'T cursed? I mean... any officer who came back and yelled 'It's cursed! The ship is cursed!' would be ordered a physc evaluation and then be put in a penitentionary

"I dunno.. again it make's me feel nerves, I had looked up my journal writing from 6 month's ago and still couldn't believe I was given this ship. Oh well, such the duty's of an intelligence officer, I will break the curse on this ship and prove that the ship is a normal ship... just hope none of my crew go crazy on me", I said while leaning back against the desk

"Space, here I come.. only this time as a ship commander and not a marine", I smiled as I left my office and walked down the corridor leading to the shuttle bay. The shuttle pilot saluted and I returned his salute even though it wasn't nessecury

As the shuttle made it's way through the atmosphere I had taken notice of how light the traffic from the ship to the station. We where heading to Prime HQ but it still was pretty quiet

"What's with the silence", I asked the pilot

"Prime doesn't want to many people to know that this ship is in dock, nor do they want any reporter's up here", the pilot said in a low voice. "I don't know about you sir, but this ship shouldn't even be here", he said

I agree, I said in the back of my mind
