Guest Posted April 3, 2000 Report Posted April 3, 2000 hmmm... asteroids Will the server GODS have real-time access to change stuff?Back home we had a server called "Q" .. and we took turns being "Q"... we would randomly get a player talk to him, if he agreed, take him off the team he was in, convert him to a BORG CUBE (aka AT with Borg Cube graphic from COW3) and let him loose on the galaxy.2000 pnt phasers with 2 screen range, nothing gets better than that. Forced the 2 teams to unite for a while.. and oh the backstabs! Those were the times!I still remember our favorite "BORG" player.. he used to say "(shipname..aka "Fa") Lower your shields and prepare to be assimilated, resistance is Futile".. if the player stopped and lowered shield he would tractor him to third space and leave him there. If not..well, he was chased for 10 minutes by the cube.. quite fun! Err.. ill shut up now.. send me your client when you get it up, let the good times roll!
