The AGE old question

Call me mental if you will ( It's been done before - I got a long list of X's that would testify to that ) but I'm curious as to the average age of the forum contributors. So, as a suggestion, why not stop by, let me know how old you are and after a while, we can total it up and work it out.

Dont be shy gang, I'm well aware some of you older farts are gonna be reluctant to post ( I'm not gonna name any names here, but I've got a fairly prominent Insurgent Commander in mind here ), but I think it will give us a fairly good indication of what sort age group we have here.

Since I brought It up, I'll start off by announcing that I'm a hair away from being 27 and starting to get ticked off by being refered to as being in my 'Late twenties' by my younger siblings.

Off you go ...

I'll reply to your age question, I'm not afraid.

My 40th birthday was last February. May I offer some other demographic data for you? I started the Battlecruiser just prior to the release of version 2 and have posted only a few times to this board. Somewhat to my credit, I have not yet received a RTFM, just a RTFAQ! By day I pose as a mild mannered Network Administrator/Technician and by night I'm known as Cmdr Ledge Rock of the GCV Computron. This fine game has even infuenced my computer purchases. The NEED to play this title in 3DFX saw me saving my pennies and buying a Voodoo II card. My next purchase will more than likely be motivated by the needs of THE GAME, too!

I eagerly await the release of the Millenium Demo, as do all of us, and hope to meet with everybody as multi-player comes of age.

Well, my RL alter-ego was born approximately twenty-four and a half solar cycles ago, way back in the mists of time (but obviously not as way back as some smile.gif)

It seems to be that 1973 is a very popular year smile.gif, so why not add one more, 27 it is.

And Blades, I've been ticked off ever since I turned 25, the "you are closer to 30 than 20, you know" comments just won't stop (I'm still in College, so maybe thats why smile.gif ).
