I just wanted to acknowledge and Thank Derek for answering all of those questions IN DEPTH! Thanks Mr. Smart!!All is not lost, thanks to the fame and fortune brought to me by this interview *wink wink* I have landed new writing jobs at CNET, Voodoo Extreme, and Maximum 3D!! Hopefully these sites will allow me to follow up on this interview with more great 3000AD information (so that we can get some more scraps from Derek! Supreme Cmdr Posted July 20, 2000 Report Posted July 20, 2000 heh, actually he got the snub before the interview was completed and signed-off. Nothing to do with his work on interview - lest some get the wrong impression. Besides, if that was the case, Avault wouldn't have run it. When Kareem left, Brian Clair, the EIC, took it on and over several days, we modified and cleaned it up a bit, then he ran it. In fact, I almost pulled it because I was concerned that Kareem wouldn't get credit for it - but Brian assured me that he would, so, I gave him the go ahead to run it.
