Somewhere along the way to Yokosuka you'll hear the "announcement" of Angin. Get off there! That's the little village that was the basis of the Novel and Movie of Shogun. It's been since '74-'79 timeframe but I think you'll find that the actual name of the Pilot was Adams. It's worth it just to explore that country. Also there's a little island park along the coast, North of Atsugi, named Inoshima (misspelled I'm sure). Go there! It's a little island loaded with shrines. Have fun Tac, but above all else, Learn the customs. I dont have the s-ware to do it from this cafe... but paint does it nicely.I dont have much time to have any fun, this fricken excuse for an immersion program enphasizes on the parrot theory.. memorize, regurgitate, repeat... apperantly nobody told them about short term memory.. hmm.
