Guest tictoc
Hi guys, reading through the forum i see some reference to the game running slow on some systems, this brought to mind my own experiance on the subject. I have built my own systems set up in a lan config and i know whats in them and how they should run, but when i installed a prog called cacheman i saw my frame rates drop quite dramatically, i could not believe it could be this prog as it has been around for a few, when it was removed everything was hunky again. Anyone else with thoughts on the subject? regards tic
R. T. Maxwell
I'm assuming cacheman uses your hard drive as swap space, in which case it would dramatically slow down your system. BC3K is a processor hog, and I'm guessing it's a RAM eater as well. So yes, memory management programs will probably play hell with it! Although I'm not sure if I'm being any help here...------------------ Robert Thomas Maxwell GCV Desideratus http://powerpub.net "Leave the repairs to the techs. Leave the mass destruction to ME."
