Actually I think NASA is supporting this. I got the idea when I looked through the merchandise and found a whole stream of NASA stuff. It's pretty kick ass.

$15 dollas... shoot moon rocks? Hey I guess it may pay off in the future huh?

Ok, here's how things MUST go down for this to pay off:

1. Civillians MUST make it into space. Humanity is taking its sweet time. Don't count on it in our generation.

2. This company MUST convince lawmakers to uphold their claim to the chunks of land vs. the corporate or other claim. Fact is, should anyone really start making headway (govt. or private) no UN resolution is going to stop them. Possession is 9/10 of the law in these instances. Governments can take what they want. No one is going to go to war over the UN resolution and it's not enforcable. Corporations will always have more money than this organization. Money gets you everywhere. You can count on lawmakers to uphold the corp. rights before the individual rights if only because NO individual can afford to get there.

3. Like I said above, if a Corporation/Government has the means they will claim what they want. They won't fear the law on earth. There are NO laws in space. Who's going to enforce them? I'll tell you who: Corporations and their private armies will be the new law in space.

However, at $15 an acre, who cares. For a few hundred dollars you can buy into the chance that it will work. If it doesn't you really won't be out too much money. If it does work...the payoff possibilities could be amazing. Heck, the bragging rights will be good for a while

Anyway Akira they claim that everything is legal so if you own that piece of land you own it. The corperations can't take it from you and if they do? You can sue their sorry @$$&$! Wuuhuu!

I figure fifteen bucks for an acre of land? Well my kids will sure be happy that's for sure!
