I will admit to being the oldest veteran who has not declared yet!I toyed with it a while back, but I couldn't bring myself to decide. Too much of a Federation loyalist, I guess. But that was then and this is now, so who knows? I may succumb to the Dark Side yet!
Guest Posted February 20, 2001 Report Posted February 20, 2001 Don't feel too alone Steve, I have yet to declare a fleet affiliation myself. Just can't seem to decide what I want to do or where I'd like to be, Wraith sounds like fun, but the Insurgency would be a ball too, but then again, when Multiplayer comes along, maybe I want the freedom to do whatever the heck I please. I was in the Army thank you very much, I don't take orders well, but giving them, that's another concept all together!! lol ------------------ CMDR Jaguar GCV Excelsior This is not just a game, It's a life unto itself!! Steve Schacher Posted February 20, 2001 Report Posted February 20, 2001 Jag,I've been giving it a lot of thought in the past few hours, and I'm leaning towards this line of thought:Whichever side the Supreme Commander is on, I want to be on the other side!!!
Papi Posted February 20, 2001 Report Posted February 20, 2001 My first contact with The Game was sometime summer '96. Somehow bumped into beta version of BC3K, it was in one of the cd's I loaned from a friend. I managed to launch from the Galcom but not much else. I remember thinking that when the game is out I'll go out and buy it.I forgot the game for a about year 'cause I never saw it in the shelves. But then I found the Silver Box v.1.0 in a retail bin.I had been a long time fan of Braben's Elite Series and even enjoyed Frontier: First Encounters alot. But after I got into BC3K universe that was it!I remember that I signed in BC3K forum for the first time sometime in late '97.Anyone still remember "Clear to dock" when you accessed the site? At first I used to lurk in the shadows just reading and I must admit that it hasn't changed that much, but every now and then when I got something to say I come out. It's been really great 4 years (still learning) and is getting even better with BCM!Well, that's about it, my story in BC3K universe.------------------ Cmdr Jason Cloud GCV Silver Lining, GENESIS (Moon) 26 Squadron Commander, 2nd squadron Prime fleet, Gamma Wing [This message has been edited by Papi (edited 02-20-2001).]
