I also noted that after I post, my post is not showing up on the page until after I manually refresh it. aramike Posted March 21, 2001 Report Posted March 21, 2001 After you post, when you get the page that says to "Wait while we create the new page", do NOT click on the link that it provides. Let it automatically forward you. The server takes a few seconds to process your post so if you click that link too early, the new page isn't up yet.[This message has been edited by aramike (edited 03-21-2001).]

The really weird example is the ICQ thread I mentioned, even though I had not been to the forums during that current browsing session, I could not see the new posting until I had manually refreshed even though the threads page for the General Forum showed there was a new post in that thread.PS.There is one other common thread I had not thought about until just now: the Demo. Is is possible that site traffic is up enough that the current 5 second delay between posting and the autopage refresh is not long enough for the new page to actually generate on occasion? As to my thing with the ICQ thread, it is possible that I opened the thread before the new page was generated as well. I end up counting the posts and hitting refresh in some cases several times before I can see all the posts. aramike Posted March 21, 2001 Report Posted March 21, 2001 Hmmm, maybe the standard delay is too short. Regardless, I haven't had the problem at all. Try clearing your Internet cache.
