I live near Portland Oregon,

Today the anarchist and other assundry lowlifes are having what they are lovingly calling a demonstration and parade.

Last year it turned into riots that saw over 50 people hospitalized, 2 killed and over 200 arrested.

I am wondering what is going on in your part of the woods, are the anarchists and socialists as nuts there, as they are here?

I will update as the day goes on, but so far it looks peaceful, but there is a busload of anarchists from Eugene on their way up here, yes, the same bunch who started the WTO riots in Seattle, and I am crossing my fingers that the bus breaks down. When they get here, it could get rather crazy downtown.

Things were fairly quiet here for MAY day but I heard on the news that protests in England got out of hand with shop windows getting smashed and banks being targetted.

Are the commies as active in the US as they are over here? Little summary of 1st of May in Berlin:

Total Chaos has broken out, Police are outnumbered by thousands of anarchists in the district of Kreuzberg. By dusk the first cars go up in flames and Police and Commies engage in a happy free-for-all in which the Commies happily throw bricks around (not giving a damn what they hit anyway as long as it either goes crack! or YEOW!) and Police spray water and tear gas on anything that dares to move.

Some Skinheads of the national Right-Wing Extremist party join the fray but they dont really factor into any calculations and are left somewhat wondering but beating Commies anyway.

Communist youth organizations (which we got plenty of) already start yelling about the Nazi-Superstate which they are forced to live in and urge the public to rise and join their justified fight for freedom against these really disgusting democrats that rule this country.

Some REAL freaks start to fry their HotDogs over some burning cars (now that they are burning anyway... ) but dont really succeed because I reckon GasDog dont taste good. The real winners of this are the Fast Food chains because Bratwurst sales have skyrocketed.

Police helicopters are by now trying to get the situation under control but they either lack the enthusiams or the means or both.

By dawn the Commies have vanished but never fear they WILL be back 05/01/02!!
